Love's
magic knows no bounds. The Filipino male, in the

of male friends, and with a guitar, professes
his love to the blushing lass through love songs.
This is the "harana", or serenade,.
In the second stage of courtship, the man woes
the girl's family by performing household tasks.
His sacrifice pays off when he gets the nod of

for a celebration. Courtship, Filipino style-it
